Let's Get Closer

Let’s Get Closer is a question-card game for two people who want to feel closer. We built Intelligent Change’s prompt decks — the brand behind the Five Minute Journal, 500k+ followers and 4M+ products sold — into an app, without losing what made the physical game work.

The challenge. Card games like this live or die on feel. The risk with going digital is that prompts meant to slow two people down and open them up become just another thing to swipe past. We had to keep the calm, tactile, take-your-time quality of the physical deck while adding the things only an app can do.

What we shipped. A three-level structure — Close, Closer, Closest — that escalates from trust-building openers to questions that surface real emotion. Five curated editions with up to 400 prompts. A paced, deliberate interface that holds the mood of the original cards. Live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

The outcome. Intelligent Change’s physical card game, translated into a digital experience that feels like the deck rather than a database of questions.
