Welbeck Health
Five micro-sites unified into one role-aware platform · GP referral 7× faster · 13-week delivery
Welbeck Health is a private-hospital network in London. When we started, the organisation was running five disjointed micro-sites — one per clinic, each with its own brand, login flow, and content. Patients, insurers, and GPs all had to navigate them separately. The internal team was duplicating work to keep each site current.
The challenge. Consolidate five fragmented experiences into one platform without breaking the per-clinic branding GPs and patients already recognised. The new system had to handle three very different audiences — GPs, insurers, and patients — with role-aware access, secure document uploads, and a full audit trail meeting GDPR and clinical-data standards.
What we shipped. One role-aware platform that auto-brands per clinic. SSO across all five clinics. Encrypted document uploads. Full audit trail. A GP referral flow that takes 7× less time than the old multi-site experience. Delivered in 69 person-days across 13 weeks.
The outcome. Open security findings reduced. GDPR review passed. The internal team stopped fighting five CMSs and started shipping content once. GPs make referrals faster, patients get to the right clinic without bouncing between sites. The five-into-one model proved that consolidation doesn’t have to mean losing brand recognition.
